General Rules
1. All visitors must register at the office upon arrival.
2. Leases are not offered; subletting is not permitted for any reason.
3. You are responsible for the conduct of anyone visiting during your stay.
4. Mail is not permitted; packages will be accepted. Please pick up packages within 3 days. PO boxes are available for rent in the local area.
5. All RVs and campers older than 2011 will require a visual inspection by staff before being approved for campsite.
6. Guests are financially responsible for all damage to property, amenities, rentals and are subject to eviction based on damage.
7. Disorderly conduct, public intoxication, and loud/obnoxious behavior will not be tolerated.
8. Illicit drug use will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the campground and possible involvement of law enforcement.
9. A valid credit card must be on file at all times during your stay.
10. Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee for each occurrence.
11. Campers and RVs must remain mobile at all times.
12. For the safety of all, the speed limit is 5 mph on campground property, speeding will not be tolerated.
13. Refunds will not be granted if you are asked to leave for any reason.
14. Smoking of any kind is prohibited in all buildings and common areas. Please dispose of smoking materials properly.
15. For the safety of all, children must be supervised by an adult at all times while on campground property.
16. Any rules and regulations posted on the property are to be followed.
17. The office is open every day from 10:00 am 6:00 pm.
18. Check-in is from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and check-out is at 11:00 am. If later check in is needed, reach out to office for other arrangements.
19. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. We ask that you keep the noise down to a minimum during this time.
20. Security cameras are placed in various areas among the campground for the safety and protection of our campers and guests.
21. Per town ordinance, fireworks are not permitted in OKI, or the OKI Campground.
Campsites
1. Vehicles
a. Each site is limited to two vehicles which must be registered, insured, and road-worthy at all times during your stay.
b. Vehicle washing and maintenance are not permitted on campground property.
c. We do not offer overflow parking.
d. Golf carts, dirt bikes, ATVs, and similar vehicles are not permitted on campground property.
e. Bikes are not permitted to be ridden on campground property.
f. Boats and trailers are not allowed to be parked on the campsite.
2. Guests are responsible for disposing of their household trash in the provided dumpsters located on the property. No other trash should be discarded in these dumpsters.
3. Sites must be kept clean and orderly over the duration of your stay. Please do not cut, climb, or put anything on the trees.
4. We do not allow any permanent building additions; including but not limited to fences, sheds, porches, or decks.
5. Only “Solo Stove Fire Pits” are allowed on campsites, all other fire pits are prohibited.
6. Clothes lines are not permitted on campsites.
7. Small gas and charcoal grills are permitted at sites.
8. Tarps are not permitted to be used unless approved by management for short-term use.
Pets
1. There is a 2-pet limit per campsite.
2. Pets must be leashed at all times outside of RVs and dog park.
3. Breed restrictions apply. Aggressive breeds are not permitted.
4. Observe pet-restricted areas.
5. Excessive barking will not be tolerated.
6. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination is required upon arrival, flea and tick prevention is highly recommended for each pet.
7. Picking up and disposing of pet waste is the owner’s responsibility, any waste having to be picked up by staff will result in a $50 fine to the pet owner.
8. Pet fences must be approved by management.

Cancellation/Changes and Refund Policy
1. Refunds will not be granted due to weather/natural elements. When booking, camper understands that they are paying for an outdoor experience.
2. Cancellations made outside of the 30 day window will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations made between 15 and 30 day window will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of stay will not be refunded.
3. If changes need to be made to your reservation, please call office and we will do our best to accommodate you, nothing is guaranteed.
4. No refunds will be granted for early departures.
Monthly Campers
1. Payments are due on the 1st of every month.
2. Any payments made after the 5th of the month are subject to a 10% late fee.
3. Peak season initial month payment must be made at time of booking over the phone.
4. For monthly reservations, please call the office.
5. There is a $35.00 nonrefundable application fee including a background check.
Payments
1. Insufficient funds or bounced checks will result in $50 charge.
2. Payment in full is due at the time of booking.
Policies
1. OKI is a privately owned campground.
2. OKI Campground is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, theft, and/or damage to RVs, campers, vehicles, guests, or any other property.
3. The RV/Camper owner is responsible for providing current property and liability insurance and must show proof upon arrival.
4. OKI Campground reserves the right to decline service to any individual at management’s discretion where it is necessary to maintain the safety and well-being of its staff, guests, or property.
5. Rates are subject to change without notice.
6. OKI Campground reserves the right to enter any site at anytime.
7. OKI Campground reserves the right to end the rental term early at management’s discretion.
8. Oak Island Campground strives to provide campers with an enjoyable camping experience. However, camping and related activities occur in an outdoor recreational setting. There are aspects of any recreational experience that cannot entirely be controlled or made free of risk. The Campground is not liable for weather conditions, natural events, or damages caused by wrongful conduct or carelessness of others. The Camper and not the Campground is responsible for supervision and control of all Campers and Guests.
